I am a maker in Portland, Oregon.

I fell in love with the art of ceramics when I was in high school. After high school I went to work in the tech industry and didn't get the opportunity to pursue my passion for clay further. It always stuck with my though. In 2019, when my wife and I bought our house nestled in the woods in the middle of Portland, I got to work transforming the 1940's detached garage into a studio.

Growing up in Montana, I have always had a love for the outdoors - and my love of nature is what brought me to Oregon 10 years ago. Overtime I found ways to bring nature inside - collecting over 100 houseplants of all different varieties.

My passion for ceramics combined with my interest in nature and houseplants has led me to design and create pottery for plants. Each one of my pieces is custom made to work with a specific plant. I take into account the care and environment that each plant needs to flourish, and build pieces that allow each plant to thrive and compliment their unique characteristics.

This is just the beginning for me and I cannot wait to bring more of my ideas on paper to life. I am most excited to share my creations with fellow plant lovers who can appreciate them along with me!
